Does Riskan require the installation of any additional program to the operating system?

No. All required components and DLLs are installed at the system installation. The required DLLs are libeay32.dll and Libbz2.dll. The DLLs are installed exclusively in Riskan directory in order not to cause compatibility issues with other systems eventually installed on the same machine.

The hardware key has compatibility issues with newer versions of Windows, for that reason is not being installed or required by current versions of Riskan. When the compatibility issue is resolved, the hardware key may be required again.

It is important that the installation is done by a machine administrator. The later use of Riskan does not require administrative rights, but the installation will fail if the user is not an administrator. For more details see the Riskan installation process.
