What is the programming language used to develop the GUI?

In its version 3.5, the Riskan is written in C++ language, using the RAD tool from Borland C++ Builder 2006. It is a standalone system where all data and code are stored on the same machine, the user station. Although the system uses HTML pages in some situations, it is not a web system and all databases are local and managed by the executable itself.

Version 4.0 of Riskan is in development and will change the language to C# with .NET Framework 4.5, with standalone and web integrated modules.
